In Brief ….
I am a photographer, writer and yoga student and teacher living in Fort Worth,
Texas.
For nearly 19 years, I was a newspaper reporter, working in
New Orleans, Denver,
New York, Fort Worth and Boulder, Colo., and winning a
Pulitzer Prize nomination.
Later, I received national awards in the niche field of
benefits and compensation
communication.
I began practicing yoga at the age of 50 and was accepted as an
Anusara-inspired
Yoga™ teacher at 53.
The next year, after a lifetime as a serious amateur and sometimes freelancing
commercial
photographer, I began submitting my artistic work for gallery and
exhibit consideration at.
Within 18 months, I had been juried into a dozen
national and international exhibits, and
was in the permanent collection of the
Fine Arts Gallery of the Buddy Holly Center,
Lubbock; the oncology unit of All
Saints Hospital, Fort Worth; Texas Christian University’s
Neely School of
Business, and OneSource Marketing & Communication in Fort Worth.
I shoot digitally and in film, on a range of assignments and as an artist pursuing
my body
of work. My commercial work has been used in marketing materials
and
Web site designs. |
